The Vicious Build Team: A Legacy of Performance and Racing Excellence

Founded by Roger Berndtson in the late 1960s, SÜNDER Motorsports has a rich heritage rooted in high-performance vehicles and racing innovation. Roger’s career began with success in the Rallye Belgium Championships, followed by international appearances like the Firestone International Rally in 1971. His racing journey expanded to endurance events, including the 24 Hours of Spa, Nurburgring, and 6 Hours of Spa, cementing his legacy in European Championship events at legendary circuits such as Imola and Monza.

In the 2000s, Roger’s son Steven Berndtson carried on the family legacy, excelling in endurance racing, time attack, and driver coaching. Steven competed in prestigious events like the GT World Series and the 6 Hours of Portimão, while also mentoring drivers in Formula 4 and GT3 Cup.

Today, SÜNDER Motorsports continues to lead in both engineering and racing, blending cutting-edge technology with a commitment to excellence. The brand’s legacy of innovation and performance inspires the world of motorsport with every victory and lap.

THE STORY

The Vicious RS Inspiration: 964 Carrera 4 Lightweight

The 964 C4 Lightweight is the rarest 964 variant, built using parts from the 953 Paris-Dakar project. Designed to combine the 964 RS body with the 959’s all-wheel-drive system, it was a lightweight, high-performance version intended for a one-make race series but ultimately shelved.

Powered by a 265 hp 3.6L flat-six, it featured a close-ratio five-speed manual and a Rally-style adjustable all-wheel-drive system. Weighing just 1098 kg, the car used aluminum, Plexiglas, and fiberglass body components, along with a seam-welded chassis and fixed windows. Additional race features included adjustable Cup suspension and a Matter roll cage.

With 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 125 mph, the 964 C4 Lightweight is a rare, road-legal racer that delivers exceptional acceleration and agility. The 964 C4 Lightweight had a limited-production of only 22 units total from 1990-1992 making one of the most rare 964s.

The Vision of Avid Collector: Owner of Hedon Motors Air-Cooled Dealer

Peter Anderes, the founder of the Vicious RS program, began his journey into high-performance car collecting with the 997 GT3 and other models from the 997 series. However, it was his rediscovery of classic air-cooled 911s—ranging from the mid-60s to the performance-driven models of the 90s—that truly ignited his passion. This led to the founding of Hedon Motors, a dealership dedicated to curating exceptional examples of Porsche’s most iconic models. Among his unique collection are rare pieces such as Magnus Walker’s “Rotterdam Outlaw”, one of the few cars Magnus has ever sold from his collection. Other standout cars include a 1986 930 Turbo S (one of only 41 ever built), an ultra-rare 1993 928 GTS Manual without sunroof (a factory exhibition vehicle), and a 640hp 993 TTP Turbo built by Ferdinand Pietz. These cars embody the pinnacle of Porsche engineering across multiple eras. Today, Hedon Motors is the exclusive worldwide marketer of the Vicious RS, reflecting Peter’s vision of offering the most sought-after air-cooled cars and exclusive performance models to discerning collectors globally.
